August 25th School Board Meeting

On August 25, the Board of Education will be discussing and potentially voting on a Mill Levy Override (MLO). This decision will be huge for Douglas County educators. An MLO is one of the few tools districts have to stabilize funding, protect programs, and ensure competitive pay. For educators who have spent years navigating budget shortfalls, this vote is more than procedural, it directly affects classroom resources, staffing, and our ability to retain the professionals students rely on every day.
